UV Rotary Screen
Water Ink Technologies offers a line innovative, highly flexible rotary
screen inks. Our rotary screen inks
are silicone-free, allowing for the “stacking” of rotary screen
and UV flexo inks.
We also make high clarity, “tactile” rotary screen inks
for printing inks that you can see and feel!
A unique feature of our rotary screen inks is the capability for the
printer to make their own rotary screen inks simply by blending a special
rotary screen extender with Water Ink’s Pharmaflex UV inks. Like all Water Ink Technologies’ UV
products, they are formulated to be the safest UV products on the

Performa
Our Performa inks take water-based printing to a new level. These inks produce high quality, high
definition printing on both short and extended runs while providing
outstanding press and shelf stability.
Performa’s technology has produced a virtually maintenance free
ink. Performa allows the printer to
focus on print quality, not ink maintenance.
The high strength base system allows for the use of anilox rolls with
volumes of 2.5 to 3.0 BCM, while the process inks are designed for 1.4 BCM
aniloxes. Performa is balanced for use
with the “Ink Miser” computer based batching system and is backed
by our Quality Verification System, QVS.

Optafilm
Optafilm is a high strength, low viscosity
water-based ink that gives the printer the optimum in pressroom versatility
and productivity. Optafilm
is designed for printing on film substrates, but also offers excellent
printability on paper and foil substrates, potentially reducing a printers
inventory of ink systems. Optafilm’s high definition printability and
on-press stability shifts the printer’s focus from ink maintenance to
quality and productivity. Optafilm is also backed by Water Ink Technologies’
exclusive Quality Verification System (QVS) that ensures consistent color

Indirect
Thermal
Indirect
Thermal (IDT) inks are specifically formulated for excellent anchorage when
overprinted using indirect thermal ribbons and tapes. IDT inks do not color
distort and they resist build up on the printer head. IDT inks are available
in transparent white and opaque formulations. Back to Top
Heat
Resistant
Heat Resistant
inks are formulated for special applications where high heat resistance is
required. The system is designed to withstand temperatures of 375 degrees
Fahrenheit to 475 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the substrate, time of
exposure (dwell), and the heat and pressure applied, if any. This system
prints very clean while providing excellent color strength. The pigments used
in this system are high heat resistant to avoid any color change when exposed
to high heat. If higher heat resistance is needed, Water Ink Technologies,
Inc. has a two part ink system that will exceed 500 degrees Fahrenheit. We
have also developed a heat resistant overprint to work with this system or
alone, to increase the overall heat resistance of our standard inks. Back to Top

Envelope
Ultra Envelope
inks are uniquely formulated with the lowest concentration of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) possible. Developed in
conjunction with envelope converters, the Ultra Envelope system gives you

Water Gloss
Thermal inks are formulated for thermal printing applications. This system
provides the demanding water resistance required for thermal substrates. We
recommend that you submit samples of your thermal substrate for testing or

UV Inks
Water Ink
